Mary Der-Parseghian, Esq.
Mary Der-Parseghian has experience litigating complex cases in federal and state courts, including unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, and business torts such as fraud. Ms. Der-Parseghian’s practice combines and advocate’s skill complemented by a business person’s judgment strategic evaluation and settlement negotiations. A tactical attorney, Ms. Der-Parseghian develops a strategic plan from the onset of litigation in order to obtain a successful outcome for her clients. Ms. Der-Parseghian’s business oriented approach to litigation has led to remarkable victories for her clients, both at trial and in the mediation and settlement context.
Ms. Der-Parseghian started her practice in the personal injury and complex business litigation arena. Ms. Der-Parseghian continues to practice in those areas and has expanded in Estate Planning and Family Law.
Ms. Der-Parseghian can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to be an attorney. With that goal in mind, she concentrated on developing her organizational and analytical skills working as a legal secretary as she completed her undergraduate work. Ms. Der-Parseghian then was admitted to Southwestern School of Law’s SCALE Program, also known as Southwestern’s Conceptual Approach to Legal Education, the only accredited two-year law school program in the country. After obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree, she returned to work immediately as an associate, then a partner and now has opened her own firm.

Ms. Der-Parseghian is a regular contributor on topical legal matters to her column “You and Your Legal Rights,” including Television and News Paper interviews for the complex Personal Injury Litigation of Grand View Cemetery, among others with the Armenian Observer, weekly newspaper. A community service lecturer on legal topics including “Kids and the Law;” “Why to Avoid Probate;” and “You and Your Legal Health.”
Ms. Der-Parseghian received her JD from Southwestern University School of Law, SCALE Program, 2002; and her BA from the California State University – Northridge in Business with an emphasis in Business Law, 2000. Ms. Der-Parseghian is admitted to the State Bar of California, and is admitted before all Federal District Courts within the State of California.
Ms. Der-Parseghian is a member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Los Angeles County Bar Association – Family Law and Estate Planning Sectors; California attorneys for Criminal Justice as well as many other organizations. Ms. Der-Parseghian is also an adjunct Professor at National University.
